* Updated with more links! 10-18-06
First of all, the title of this post is the Unit Study we are working on right now. If you are just joining me, or for more about the curriculum we use, you can visit their website or read up about past adventures we have had. Below are links we have discovered over the past few weeks of school (some were shared with us by friends doing our same unit). We are a bit behind schedule due to excessive field trips and daddy’s work schedule leaving us less school days each week… so we have a few weeks left on this unit yet. I may come in to add a few more links later. If you have any related links to share, by all means, leave them in the comments section so the kids and I can check them out.
On a side-note, I just wanted to say that we were gone all day yesterday on a field trip to visit a blind lady and see her interesting gadgets that help her tell time, mail library books on tape, label her medicines in Braille, label her clothes with color initials so she can “match” and walk around (cane). The kids enjoyed listening to her and asking her questions. We also walked with a post-man to deliver some letters, had lunch in the park, played on the playground, and had the most educational field trip of the year at an eye-doctor’s office (with our co-op). We were gone from noon to five-thirty! Then I had to come home and cook enchiladas (recipe to be posted later today on my other blog). We had a great day, even if we only did a fraction of our “seat work” and other schoolwork.
Today is a full school day, so I had better run. I just wanted to post to make sure you don’t think I had forgotten about the blog entirely. I was just too tired to get to it last night.

Great timing Heather! We just started the KONOS virtual co-op yesterday. Jessica is starting with Attentiveness so this is perfect. Thanks a bunch. Oh yeah, I didn’t know you had another blog. I checked out the recipes. They look delicious. I am going to have to try some of them. Have a great day. Sue in Orlando
