One of the benefits of homeschooling is that you get to pick your own week for Spring Break. I thought I was being smart by taking it the week before the rest of the state breaks. I came to find out that everyone in the surrounding states took this week off, however… and that means all the parks in Arkansas are full of out-of-state guests (like ours). I guess sometimes you can’t get everything you want. Our trips around the towns here have been nice, though. Hardly any crowds to speak of. We have been having a lot of fun with our buddies from Texas. Here are a few of our photos from the past few days:
As you can see, I’m too busy to blog. I do plan to get back to my regular blog routine as soon as I can, though. Like I said in this post, I have standardized testing next week for the children… so expect delays in here! Today we are off to go camping (despite the fact that there may be some rain).

Nice pictures. That is a neat advantage with home schooling. You don’t have to worry about people crowding on hot spots during spring breaks. I remember one time when we had to cancel our vacation to this cool place because of too much people. What a bummer.

Thanks BWH!
Hey Tanya. 😉 My teeth look goofy in that photo. I need my Crest white-strips again (conveniently in storage in Texas as they have been for 18 months now). Thanks for your sweet comment, though.
Frank – Yes, I love taking off-peak trips and visiting field-trips while regular school kids are trapped in schools. 😉
Keri – Thanks! I’ll have to come check out your flower photo. I would love to know what type of flower I shot.
