Okay, so I’m not as hip as Boo Mama or Big Mama (who have fashion down to a science and their very own podcast with real intro music)…
…and I’m not as blessed with a plethora of comments on every post like the lovely Susan and Janice
…but I DO have some cool shoes to give away here at Sprittibee… and the deadline for entry is tomorrow by Midnight (Monday Sept 24!). I’m going to announce the winner Tuesday!
I should adopt Boo Mama’s byline and just say that Sprittibee is read by “tens of people every day”. I look at these ladies’ comments sections and it blows me away. I want to grow up and be like them. I guess I need to give away pink things and talk more about skinny jeans and bacon grease?
I don’t know, y’all. What do you think?
While you are pondering that, I better go water the flower bed I just planted. I can’t wait to post a photo of my yard work today. We actually mowed our huge weeds (the neighbors are going to throw a party) for the first time since we moved in at the end of July!

I think you are doing a great job already! I know that with my own blog, people come by to read, but don’t leave comments! It’s frustrating because you don’t know if people are “getting” it or not!
Keep up the good work!

I love your blog. It’s one of the only one’s I’m actually subscribed to. Keep up the good work!!!

I think your contest is great! I just couldn’t see me wearing those shoes so didn’t want to take them from someone who likes them! I’m not much of a shoe person!
Love,
Terri Sue

Don’t change who you are! I don’t read all those other people. I do read you 🙂

Awww, I love your blog! Honestly, I click over to you from Bloglines way more than the “biggies”. You have such thoughtful and down-to-earth writing and great pictures. I think of you as the BooMama of the homeschooling world. Maybe you could be BeeMama…lol!

I love the BeeMama comment! As for the shoes? Hubby & I are about the same height, so they’re not happenin’ for me. And comments? I think I’d run and hide if I had the comments of Big & Boo! You’d have to stay up a few more hours every night just to keep up, girlfriend! I think you run a fine little blog here, BeeMama, and a lot more people read it than you realize! 😀

Wendy, 🙂 Thanks. I don’t know what came over me. LOL
Gwendolyn, 🙂 Thanks. That is so kind… but maybe you should branch out, dear! 😉 All I had to blog about today was a baked potato. Surely there’s something more interesting out there!
Terri Sue, 🙂 Thanks. Yeah, I guess you would rather have a flat heel with knee trouble. I love my bootleg jeans, though. Gotta have some heel for my bootlegs. I looked like a dork all summer wearing them with sandals.
MBR, 🙂 Thanks. You are too sweet. And every time I see those strawberries, I smile. They are, like, SO mugging out! LOL
Stephanie, 🙂 Thanks. Biggies! Ha. I already am Bee Mama around here. However, I wouldn’t have much to say on my podcast except how badly I didn’t need to be sitting around talking on a podcast because I needed to be homeschooling!
Bunny, 🙂 Thanks. Yes, I would have to advise you to stay away from the clogs in your case, then. That is my bit of fashion advice. As for those comments, you are right… since I like to respond to everyone individually, I might just go blind if I were ‘blessed’ with that much chatter. Yeah, you are right about the lots of people reading… only they are mostly trapped here from a google-search that went dismally wrong.

“I-I-I don’t want clever co-o-on-versation
I never want to work that hard
I just want someone that I can talk to
I want you just the way you are.”
OK…so I shouldn’t try to sing this early in the morning! But you get my meaning 🙂 (And your converstion is EXCEPTIONALLY clever, BTW)
