Homeschool Moms’ Winter Summit! {Giveaway}

You could say that I enjoy a good conference. I mean, as a photographer, I dig event photography and attend quite a few conferences – even if I don’t get to sit down and listen to many “sessions”. However, there are a few conference experiences that I’d much rather be LISTENING to than photographing. A mama needs to recharge her batteries now and then, and not just for her camera.

When my friend Connie asked me to join her blogging mom team for the Homeschool Moms’ Winter Summit in TEXAS, I thought maybe she was trying to hire me to do the photography. Don’t get me wrong, I would gladly take some photos… but I remembered how blessed I was at the last Sally Clarkson’s Mom Heart conference I went to for MYSELF, and was thrilled when she said I could just COME AND SOAK IT IN, if I would help her spread the word.

Girls. Yes you – the homeschool mom out there reading this:

THIS CONFERENCE IS FOR YOU. AND ME. To recharge in HIM. To be encouraged and inspired along the arduous journey. {I don’t know about you, but I sometimes feel as if I’m being drug behind a pick-up truck just trying to make it to Friday each week… and by the end of a semester, something has to give.}

Do you need a little vacation with understanding friends? Maybe some adult conversation that isn’t just about how Daddy’s day at work went or the latest and most horrible news from Washington? How about a break from COOKING and CLEANING (someone to make your bed and serve you a meal with more than one course and a table to clear)?

THIS CONFERENCE IS FOR YOU. AND ME. Wait… did I already say that?

Grab your nearest burned out homeschool mom friend this January and carpool to San Marcos — deep in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. Tell your husband he’ll get a new and improved wife when the weekend is over. Let your kids goof off (no homework) and eat pizza, candy and cokes while you are gone. TAKE A BREAK, MAMA!
