Here it is – as promised! The holiday movie night give-away!
Ready to get out your popcorn and fizzy drinks?!
{ And by the way, no, that’s not my house all amazingly decorated and ready for a family gathering. We STILL haven’t gotten to our tree. Stuck in the middle of the Christmas cards and laundry… it’s like herding cats around here. Thankfully, Grandma Betty’s house probably looks that good right about now. Good to know that some people have their lights twinkling already! }
Make sure to enter in the Rafflecopter at the bottom of this post to win a set of the movies listed below:
DreamWorks Holiday Collection
Shrek, Po, Toothless and the rest of the DreamWorks gang are included in these four holiday specials, available for the first-time in one DVD box set! The glittery box set includes Shrek The Halls, Merry Madagascar, Kung Fu Panda Holiday and Dragons Holiday: Gift of the Night Fury as well as bonus features including games and music videos. My favorite of the set is the How to Train Your Dragon flick. I wish I had a pet dragon like Toothless.
Original Christmas Classics
This family-friendly box set contains four of the most beloved holiday TV specials of all time, including the Rankin/Bass classics “Frosty the Snowman,” “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town” and “Frosty Returns.” I’m sure these four TV specials are part of the American holiday tradition in more than just my house! We love these. My youngest boys especially love the “snowman movie” and ask me to let them see it all during the year, not just at Christmas. I have a Rudolph and Abominable Snowman ornament on my tree each year, too. You can call me a 70’s child if you wish.
Maclarry & Stinky Cheese Battle
OK, so it’s not a Christmas themed movie, but who can resist a new Veggie Tales flick?! From Veggie Tales: “Bob and Larry’s latest adventure follows MacLarry (Larry the Cucumber) on a journey of self discovery while caught in the middle of a very silly prank war between two hilarious tribes (The Scottish Barberbarians and the Romans). The theme of the DVD teaches the importance of getting along with others, a lesson that is considered a priority for parents of preschoolers.” And so you can see why I really liked this one a lot! With two little preschool boys in my family, getting along is a very important lesson indeed!
Merry Larry and the True Light of Christmas
How could you not love a Veggie Tales movie that features reality star Si Robertson of Duck Commander as a brand new character, Silas the wise okra, as well as an all-new song titled “Light of Christmas” performed by Owl City and TobyMac? Larry the Cucumber stars as Merry Larry the mall elf and Bob the Tomato as Phillip Fleagle the lights display extraordinaire. As always, Veggie Tales doesn’t disappoint; the film tells a heartwarming tale centrally themed around compassion for others and the true meaning of Christmas.
They even have VeggieTales: It’s a Very Merry Larry Christmas as an iPhone app, for only $2.99.
Snuggle time is underrated around here at the Bee hive. We love a family movie night – especially when it’s cold outside.
{ I hope you and your family have a very merry Christmas and a happy new year! }
In Him,
Heather

I love these movies. Growing up I would have TV Guide in hand and I couldn’t wait for Rudolph to come on. I knew it was close to Christmas when he was on TV. Thanks for the chance to win.

Awesome! I should show some of these to my son. Christmas was never huge to my family growing up but somehow my son is still completely into it making me want to be more into it. He has seen the Dreamworks one and that is all.
