I found this tiny little draft post today while doing some blog housework and it was too good not to share… I’d love it if you share your crazy stories like this with me in the comment section below! I love it when tiny everyday miracles happen.

My husband walked in to the grocery store one day and dropped his wallet in a plastic basket by the door without knowing it. Some other woman picked up the basket and didn’t see the wallet. She shopped throughout the store and wound up standing in front of him in the checkout line. He saw her put her basket down and asked her if she had left the wallet in the basket. She said it wasn’t hers. It was only when he went to pay the bill that he realized his wallet was missing, and the pieces came together … him looking at the ad near the door and probably dropping his wallet, her somehow ending up in his lane, … it was all so surreal!
The cashier wasn’t able to figure out how in the world his wallet ended up in the other woman’s basket and was surprised he wasn’t suspicious that she was picking his pocket. He was just delighted that somehow God managed to bring his wallet back to him and keep it safe when it wasn’t in his possession.
Do you have a story like this – a strange twist of fate? I’d love to hear it. I have quite a few of these.
There’s the time my husband’s cousin called to tell me she found my business card in her grocery cart in Houston (I live in Austin).
And the time my wedding ring … well… that’s a story for another post.
